What is an online pooja and how does it work?
A purohit performs the ritual at the temple in your name and gotra, exactly as it would be done if you were standing there. You receive the video on WhatsApp; prasadam can be posted to your home if you choose it at checkout (shipping extra).
Do I need to be present?
No. Your names are recited in the sankalpam and the pooja is performed on your behalf. You take part through the recording, from wherever you are.
What details do I need to give?
The names of the people the pooja is for, your gotra (Shiva gotram is used if you do not know it), and the WhatsApp number the video should go to. Nakshatra and rashi are optional.
Can I book for family members or for someone abroad?
Yes. One booking can carry up to twelve names, and it does not matter where any of you live — the pooja happens at the temple, and the video travels to you.
What happens after I book?
You get a confirmation on WhatsApp with your booking reference. The pooja is performed on the listed date and the video follows within 48 hours; if you chose prasadam delivery, it is posted afterwards.
When will I receive the video, and what is in it?
Within 48 hours of the pooja, on the number you booked with. It shows the sankalpam with your names and the ritual itself.
Which payment methods are accepted?
UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, through a secure payment gateway. We never see or store your card details.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes, up to the cut-off stated in our refund policy — the temple begins preparations before the ritual. Message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference and we will sort it out.
